Tax Specialist
Description
WhippleWood CPAs seeks tax specialists with various experience levels. We are a growing certified public accounting firm with offices in Littleton, Colorado and serve a variety of clients, including auto dealerships, franchises, professional services, not-for-profit organizations, real estate development and retail trade. Our firm is involved not only with the activities of the companies we serve, but in many cases with the business owners in such areas as personal taxation and financial planning.
The ideal candidate will be able to communicate with colleagues and clients, build on existing relationships and create opportunities for new ones.
Responsibilities
• Supervision of tax engagements
• Interaction with clients to discuss tax issues and new tax service opportunities
• Coordination of client services
• Training and mentoring of staff-level employees

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting with 1–6 years of public accounting experience, including working with a variety of federal and multi-state tax returns. Experience in oil and gas and international tax would be a plus. A CPA certificate or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is required. A master’s degree in accounting and/or tax is a plus.

Business Assurance Senior

Requirements
The ideal candidate will be at the heavy staff or senior level and have a bachelor’s degree in accounting with 3 plus years of public accounting experience, including working with a variety of financial statements, from compilation to audits to agreed-upon procedures. AICPA certificate or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is required. A master’s degree in accounting is a plus.
